The Copper Canyon & Chepe

From the VOLENDAM it was a 2 hour bus road over bumpy roads through the night to the Chepe train station in the middle of nowhere to board Chepe for a 6 hour train ride up through the Copper Canyon. The railroad itself is an amazing engineering accomplishment as it winds up through the mountains gaining altitude, tunneling through mountains, and switching back on itself.
