Topolobampo & Chepe

If you are a railroad buff the Copper Canyon trip is a must! From the time we left the VOLENDAM until the time we returned was 18 hours! A long shore excursion! 2 hours on the bus in the darkness to the train station, about 6 hours on the train, 2 hours at the Canyon rim and for lunch, 6 hours back on the train, another 2 hour bus ride in the darkness back to the ship. But Stephain the Shore Ex Manager on the VOLENDAM warned everyone, and the 325 people who went on the tour – along with 9 crew including the ship’s doctor – had an amazing experience.
